The numbers of the New

Englander for July &

October have not reach[ed]

me. Have they been sent?

Not having been a subscriber

for a year or two, perhaps

you have forgotten to send

them. I always liked the

New Englander, but dropped

it a year or two since because

I had more periodical litera

ture than I could read.

I prefer the New Englander to

the work published at Andover.

Please forward to me the two numbers

due for this years & find enclosed
